Overview
Positions
in this job family provide a wide range of professional services
including advising, counseling, and instructional and education
programming and activities to support student learning. The scope
and responsibility of these positions varies and may include providing
services to individuals, working with large groups and organizing
major student programming and events. These positions may be
involved in some aspect of administration or oversight of programs
or program elements of varying degrees of size and significance. In
addition, the type of services provided by these professionals
ranges from delivering standardized information to addressing highly
complex and individualized issues.
Qualifications
Typically
minimum qualification range from a baccalaureate degree with limited
professional experience to an advanced degree with relevant professional
experience and in some cases, professional licensure.

discretionary funds must be routed and approved through proper
channels and follow departmental guidelines.

Primary
contacts are with individual students and peers in own unit
or other departments within the university. Other contacts
may include some outside agencies and occasional groups. Follows
standardized information and procedures.

and develops relations with outside groups and agencies. May
cultivate sponsors/partners for program or program activities.

Coordination

Assists
in coordination of program or project elements. Assists with
providing programmatic support. Could be responsible for smaller
program and or project(s).

assist with parts of coordination and recruitment strategies
for CC’s and HS’s. May assist with orientation programs.

manages, and expedites responsibilities and sets priorities.

as event coordinator and administers programs.
