The
School of Business Administration at Portland State University
seeks candidates for a 1.0 FTE tenure track academic position
in Sustainability/Social Responsibility beginning Fall 2008.
Position/Rank
Assistant,
Associate or Full Professor
Responsibilities
-
Engage
in research, publishable in leading management journals
on topics relevant to sustainability/social responsibility.
Preference will be given to candidates with a documented
record related to strategy, entrepreneurship and/or organizational
behavior.
-
Perform
a proportionate share of school, university, professional,
and community service. This includes participation in
efforts to build active working relationships with the
leadership of the region's business community.

Candidates
will have a doctoral degree in business or related field
with an emphasis in management.
-
Candidates
will also have a strong research portfolio in areas related
to ecological and/or social issues in business.

Candidates
with research interests that complement our current faculty
are especially attractive.
Compensation
PSU
