- UNIX Team Lead - Office of Information Technologies
The
University is seeking an experienced computing professional
to lead our enterprise UNIX team. The team supports a variety
of systems used campus-wide, including: Banner (ERP), IMAP/POP3,
SMTP, Webmail, LDAP,SAN and others. This person will use
their experience and leadershipabilities to maximize uptime
of existing systems, define requirements for new applications,
translate business needs into technical architectures, and
implement campus-wide strategies.

Qualifications
The
ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer
science or similar, a record of progressive excellence with
previous employers, experience in leading and growing a
skilled team of system administrators, and hands on experience
with: RHEL, Cyrus IMAP,
Sendmail,
Horde, Veritas VxVM, Pearl , PHP, C, and clustering.
Compensation
The
Starting annual salary rate for this position will be between
63K and 67K depending upon qualifications and experience
with an excellent benefits package including fully paid
healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package;
and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependant
at any of the Oregon University Systems schools.
