ECN-002 - Visiting Assistant Professor - Economics Department - Fixed Term - Three 1-year positions

The Department of Economics at Portland State University is seeking to fill three one-year Visiting Assistant Professor openings in the areas of Environmental Economics, Development, and Applied Microeconomics (industrial organization, labor or trade)All positions carry the possibility of renewal.

Teaching load includes courses in candidates' areas of specialization at the undergraduate and graduate levels and economic principles. Candidates engage with faculty members and conduct research, but are also expected to display exceptional ability to teach a diverse student body at an urban university.

Qualifications

Ph.D. preferred, but will consider exceptional candidates who are A.B.D.

Compensation

Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Includes an excellent benefits package including fully paid medical and dental coverage, generous retirement packages and tuition reduction for the employee, dependent or spouse at any of the Oregon University Systems.
