RBH EAP Provides free confidential counseling (up to
3 sessions per issue) to benefits eligible employees, along with resources
on elder care, child care, legal and financial referrals, and web access
to wellness information and quizzes.

Children's Center Provides
a nuturing and enriching part day program for children ages one to nine;
with a flexible schedule.

Student Parent Services (for students and student employees only)
SPS is a program that helps student parents manage the conflicting roles

Peter
Stott Center Provides recreational opportunities to the university
community, including students, faculty/staff, alumni and guests.
Greater
Portland YWCA Fitness for everybody. Corporate rates are
available for PSU faculty and staff starting at $36 per month.
Parental
Leave (also known as maternity or paternity leave, FMLA or OFLA)
PSU does not have a policy specifically referencing paternity leave,
but this falls under FMLA and OFLA. This will link you to information
on leave programs that may be available to you at PSU.
Public
Employees Benefit Board (PEBB) Publications Provides publications
with information on PEBB benefits and wellness issues.
Oregon
Department of Human Services Provides information on issues such
as child and family services, abuse and neglect, addiction, mental health,
people with disabilities, seniors and public health.
U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services Provides additional resources
on health and human services, available nationally.
Campus
Public Safety Provides information, including a campus safety guide
and crime prevention tips.

Commission on the Status of Women The commission is committed to
creating a campus climate that supports, encourages and values the full
participation of all women within the PSU community.
Multicultural
Center Provides a forum for collaborative cultural, educational
and social experiences at PSU and beyond.
Native American
Center Provides a learning center to unite all communities.
Mittleman
Jewish Community Center Provides programs for everyone age 6 weeks
to 100 years. Membership based, and anyone can join regardless of race,
religion, gender, sexual orientation and economical status.
PSU Women's
Resource Center The Women's Resource Center seeks to empower women
and to encourage their activeand equal participation in all levels of
the university community and the larger society.
Office of Affirmative
Action Works to promote a campus environment that supports and
celebrates the diversity of our community, ensure a good faith affirmative
action
effort and equal opportunity in all aspects of employment and education,
and ensure equitable and non-discriminatory treatment for all PSU communuity
members. A resource for information on several PSU networks and task
forces, including the interpersonal violence network, sexual harrassment
task force.
Sexual
and Gender Equality Task Force Sage
is aimed at sharing information, resources, and support. It is a space
to discuss issues of relevance
to the PSU lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, gender-queer,
and intersex community and their allies.

of Academic Affairs Provides faculty resources, including information
on faculty development funding opportunities, institutional research
and planning, the ABC's of PSU, and the Retirement Association of Portland

Center Provide classes for professional development (self-support
classes are not eligible for staff fee privilidge).

on leave of absence as a PSU employee, including information on Family
Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Oregon Family Leave Act (OFLA), sabbatical,
leave without pay, and others.
Branford
P. Millar Library Provides library services to PSU students, staff
and faculty.
Office
of Affirmative Action Works to resolve discrimination related concerns.
Omsbuds Office
Provides support and an informal means of problem resolution if
you have a University-related dispute at PSU.
Disability
Resource Center (Services for Students and Student Employees Only)
Provides information and instruction for faculty on how to work with
students with documented disabilities.
Flexible Schedules While
PSU does not have a formal policy on flexible schedules, they are
commonly
negotiated. Flexible schedules are at the discretion of the supervisor
and based on the needs of the department. For additional information

Market Located in Smith Memorial Student Union, the University Market
provides a selection of greeting cards, gifts, sportswear, cold beverages
and snacks.
Food
For Thought Cafe Located in the Basement of Smith Memorial Student
Union, provides affordable options for a variety of diets and strives
to feature local, seasonal, organic, sustainable and fair trade products.

Tri-Met
Portland Tri-Met, provides commutor options, including bus lines, Max
light-rail and trolley information for the Portland area.
Need
stamps? Visit the U.S. Postal Service Vending Machines in the
lobby of Neuberger Hall. Mailings can be sent from a U.S. Postal drop
box next to Cramer Hall. If you need assistance, you can also visit
