This series of management and leadership
courses is offered to member colleges and universities
who participate in the Willamette Valley Higher Education
Human Resources Consortium. The series is intended for administrators, managers, and supervisors who oversee the work of others and carry responsibility for a work unit. PSU
is a member of this group.
Whether you are managing faculty or staff in an academic, operational, or administrative unit, the challenges are similar and filled with complexities across the human condition. Topics are of generic interest and not specific to any one institution with an over-arching mission to teach intermediate skills in management and leadership in an engaging and interactive format. The series has been offered for nearly a decade and offers a significant amount of time devoted to case studies and applied techniques.
You may attend one or all of the courses offered by pre-registering at least one week before each session. Or, just register for all sessions early and complete the entire series during this academic year. We have limited seating for each of the sessions, so your early RSVP is recommended.
Other member institutions include:
George Fox University,
Lewis & Clark College, Marylhurst University, Mt.
Angel Seminary, Multnomah Bible College, National College
of Naturopathic Medicine, Oregon College of Art and
Craft, Pacific Northwest College of Art, Pacific University,
Portland State university, Reed College, University
of Portland, Western States Chiropractic College and
